My mom started at 14 i am 11 And have cramps and stuff like that but will i start at that age to?

i had my first period when i was 11 i don't know when my mom actually had her first period neither did i ever get cramps until the very first day i had my period so for me there was never no telling when i was going to have my period i think that if you have a very close relationship with your mother then talk to her about it and i know she will help allot.

It varies from person to person, but hereditary traits can be an indicator.
It used to be that 14 years or older and starting a period was considered ok, now people think they late bloomers.
Alot of girls seem to be having their periods earlier and earlier.
Most seem to be around 12 yrs. nowadays.
Either way, don't worry about. All you can do is deal with it once it gets here.

It all depends on the person. When other family members started generally does not indicate when you will get yours. You may get your period anytime between now and the age of 16. Don't stress about it, just be glad you haven't gotten it yet.

i started getting cramps for like a year before i actually got it. everyone is different, although i did get mine the same age my mom did, at 13. my sister got hers when she was 12 though.

all are different. i started at the same age as my mom but i think thats just a coincedence. i dont think there is any scientific study proving that theory. cramps could mean its coming, but it could also just mean u have a stomach ache. it'll come when its time to come. and when it does come, you'll wish it never did!! ugh its so annoying.

Might. Could be sooner. Could be later. A lot of girls are starting sooner these days, but there is no set schedule.

It depends on the way you act... You get really moody before and have bad discharge.
