It's more about telling kids that their parents have been there, done that, and they know what it's like. Parents recognize you are growing up and going down your own path, but you should also recognize their insights are based on experiences.


Everyone thinks their own parents are a little weird...

mama's alright daddy's alright...they just seem a little weird. i always thought it was about drugs, but i've never really listened to the lyrics. i will tonight though. thank you.
