If you live near a Chanel boutique, they ought to be willing to treat it for you free of charge. Neiman Marcus would probably do the same. Chanel leather easily scratches because it is Lamb.

I would gently wash it with saddle soap - it is made for leather. Then use a good brand of shoe CREAM. I buy it at better (Nordstom's, Macy's, etc.) shoe departments. Follow directions and it should look brand new. Best wishes.
