I know a thing or two. Provincetown is like the Las Vegas of Massachusetts.

What part of the Cape? It's really pretty throughout most of the Cape. Some areas are more developed for year-round living than others. Summers can be hectic if you plan on living right on the water - traffic can be a bit rough, especially on weekends. I have a friend who recently moved to Falmouth though and she's loved it there. Great schools for her daughter, enough night life and community involvement for her and her husband.

Cape Cod is a very beautiful, relatively safe, and expensive area to live in. You'll love it, especially during the summer. It is one of the best places in this part of the country to raise a family. Although, there is not too much to do around there but it has some of the most breath-taking scenery and nicest people around.

I know lots about Cape Cod.
Because you are not specific, I don't think I can be more helpful here. What exactly do you need to know?
Most people equate the Cape with being relaxed and enjoying the pace of life, so nervous won't work there.

Not about Cape Cod. Lived in Boston for about a year. Winters are hard. Lots of good mountian biking out in the woods. Lots of Revolutionary War history in Boston. The countryside is beautiful... especially in the Fall.

Summers are nice. Kind of short, but nice.

Born and bred in Boston, MA. Getting off I-93 onto Rt. 3 South all the way until you see the Sagamore bridge. They took away the rotary to improve on the traffic congestion that occurs right after Memorial Day. Falmouth, Hyannis, Mashpee...it's really beautiful. I visited Sandwich beach when I was younger. Ferry to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard.

I go down the cape every summer. I love it. There's a lot of shopping and things to do down near P-town in the summer. I went in the winter once and it was very very quiet compared to the summer time. Tons of good seafood, beaches, friendly and diverse people. It's a great place to vacation, so I imagine it's also a great place to live!
Good Luck!

Move to Maine. The cape has stuck up people and gets too crowded in the summer. Yes, it is very quaint, I must admit.
