I've taken a look at the tablature for Black Sabbath songs after Paranoid, and they've called for being detuned 1 1/2 step from the normal tuning: (E,A,D,G,B,E), which means it should be D flat tuned, (Db, Gb, Cb, Fb, Ab, Db, or something like that). My RP-80 doesn't seem to have settings for sharp tunings. So, should it be D flat instead of C#?

For the purposes that you're using, yes, you can use Db as C# on your tuner. If you're going to keep changing the tunings on your strings, I strongly suggest getting a chromatic tuner. Krog makes a really nice one for $20. It will tune to any note in existance, and the Krog tuner picks it up automatically without you having to tell it which note to listen for. It makes my life a lot easier.

Yeah , truly some blues originated from the "play what you got" aspect of it because blues mainly is more suitable about feeling than tecnique and concept , therefore the less complicated open chord tunings (less complicated to precise that practice whistle slide issue..). so some distance as what number easily commerce tunings the blues gamers use is anybodys wager . I play blues guitar to boot , yet i look again on the position i have been given impression for that , and understand truly some the gamers that i beloved rather a lot all performed in commonly used E-A-D-G-B-E tuning so as it truly is likely why i in no way switched , i even play slide that way.
