After college I want to live/work in europe. I was woundering if it would be better to go to a university in europe(I would be an international student) instead of home in north america? I would be looking to get a bachlor degree(I heard it takes 3 years to get one there?).

You're right it takes 3 years. However, except for the universities in the UK, don't expect to find general education classes to take. General education is expected to be completed after High School graduation. So the classes are more specialistic here and the teachers expect you to already know how to write, do the critical thinking and the like.

Depending on which college and major you thought to enrol into in North America, you might search the ARWU rankings.
