I'm thinking about getting a new prepaid tracfone, the LG 3280 and I read online that it's on the verizon network and uses the verizon towers, I was just wondering does that mean you can call verizon customers for free like a normal verizon wireless phone?

I thought Tracfone uses GSM. And even if it uses VZW for its infrastructure, it's not a Verizon Wireless subscriber. Therefore, Tracfone is not considered IN calling.
