If so how large do you have and what have been your experiences with them?

u can buy these hook-like earrings (they are called spirals or claws i think) which taper and you put it in your ear and every day or so use vaseline and push it through a little bit more until it goes all the way round. you get different sizes etc. also a way to do it is just start with a 2mm hoop and every few days put in a bigger one. use vaseline btw it helps. god some people are so fecking old fashioned(ppl above)

My lobes are at an 8g for the moment. I started at a 16g, and after the initial healing (about a month) I've been going up a gauge about every 2 weeks, in order to give adequate healing time. I use nothing but stainless steel tapers or talons (the horseshoe looking objects) because they go in a lot easier and have less chance of getting infected.

The process itself does sting to a degree, but it's bearable. It helps alot to hold a very hot towel to your lobes for about 5 minutes prior to stretching, as it makes them much more elastic.
