If you're sexually active or requesting birth control pills, you'll need to have a vaginal exam. If your development isn't going as expected -- if you don't have breasts yet or any pubic hair, the physician may want to examine your "privates" to see what stage of development you're in.
Just be honest with your physician about being nervous about the exam. A good physician will understand your nerves and explain why he or she needs to do something if it is extremely necessary.

no, the doctor should not examine your private area for a simple physical. if you're not sexually active, you won't need to get a gynocological exam until age 18. if i was you, i'd go to the doctor with a trusted female adult-- or talk to your guidance counselor or health teacher about what should and should not take place during your physical.

Depends on if its a girl doctor or a guy doctor. They usually just ask you when you had your period and have you ever gone like 3 months w/o a period. They usually don't look down there. Don't worry!! Its not that bad!!
Hope that helped

They don't to pap stuff until you're 18. They'll feel around your hips to make sure you don't have any cysts. But no, your private area is safe (unl;ess you're having trouble down there to begin with) So until then, I wouldn't worry, you keep your bra and underwear on and they just push around your hips.
It'll be alright

No I don't think so. Usually they will ask a young teen, your age some general questions to find out if you're having any problems etc,or if you're pregnant etc.Not to worry. Take care. SW RNP

if it is the gynecologist he may look, if you are sexually active or have problems.
it is important to gain a trusting relationship with your doctor, for when you do become sexually active..
