Everywhere I go I see that no one accepts "starter checks". But if no one accepts them, how are you supposed to get a checking account going?

a starter check is the checks the bank gives you when you first open your account.now to get past that order your checks in any of the check flyers you get in papers or other ads.it will ask on the order form what check number to start with to avoid this start your check number with a higher number like 500 or 1000.its up to you the checks are nice and cheaper this way.good luck.

Starter checks are given to you to use until you order checks from the bank with your name on them. Many people don't accept starter checks because they don't have a name printed on them. Checks usually take about a week to get printed so I'd order checks as soon as possible if you'll need them.
