me and my friends were thinking of having a road trip from ,Riverside,CA to Disneyworld,Fl. We do want to save money but have as much fun and be comfortable as possible. Should we take a van or rv? so far theres 5 of us.

Quite the challenge you're undertaking!......lol Both of your options have positives and negatives. Driving an RV can be intimidating for some, but you have your "room" with you all the time. Fuel costs would be a lot. However, you could "camp" in camper village while at Disney. Driving the van would be more cost-effective and allow you to get out of your "vehicle" and into a room when you stop for the night. I would imagine by the time you figure in fuel costs and expense of RV rental vs hotel costs, cheaper fees for a van rental/fuel the $$ would be similar. Regardless, it's gonna cost ya!......haha To be honest, with so many attractions in the Orlando area (you'll want to hit Universal Studio's too) I'd opt for the van/hotel. Only because you'll have a lot more ease of travel while sight-seeing in Florida. Whatever you do, have fun & drive safe!

RV. RVs have more space (and they have built-in bathrooms LOL!). However, RVs cost more and use more gas than vans.

RV, you have more free space. It will be totally worth it! Have fun on your trip!
