Okay, my fourteenth birthday is coming up. I was planning on having it on the 9th which is the day before my actual birthday. I was going to invite my best friend (girl) and my two best guy friends (twins). All of us together have a really great time and I thought that I was going to have a great small party at my favorite hibachi japenese steak house. All four of us love the restaurant. Well then yesterday, another girl invited the twins to the same restaurant and they went this friday, the 2nd. Just now, right after they got back, one of the twins called me and told me how much fun he had. Then, in a round about way, he basically told me that he wasn't interested in coming to my party anymore, because he just went, and he doesn't want to go again. His brother and my best friend still want to go, and I'm pretty sure we would all have a great time if he just came. But I also don't want to make him go if he thinks that it won't be as much fun as the fantastic party he went to today.

So don't invite him, if he's telling you he doesn't want to go. If you're afraid of someone feeling like a "third wheel", get together with your girlfriend and the guy friend and brainstorm someone else to ask.
Perhaps being cut out of the party so obviously will teach Captain Tact to be more polite in the future.

if he is your friend, and you really want him to be there, as a friend he should be there, your birthday only comes once a year, as a friend he should understand that and want to go no matter what to help you celebrate the occasion....but thats just my take, and im more than twice your age, so im pretty sure things have changed since i was that young.

you could always change the plans to ur birthday, but try to convince him to come, no matter how many times i go to mcdonalds or some place with my friends its always fun when i go with them
