Because animals are, by nature, insatiable. We will always gerrymander the world in order to fulfill our desires, which seek out ideas, and once we have the objects that look and feel like our idea, the goal is deflated; the idea and purpose are always greater in the imagination than the realization. And so the mind wanders to new ideas, because it is constantly active; and without any goal in sight, we falter, become bored or despair. So we can't help making goals and actualizing them-- it's part of our very activity, mind, and hunger for life.
You can find a pacific life if you work on eliminating desires and selfishness, but that's not always an available path, nor really 'the best'-- because frustration, or anxiety, hardship are part of a lively coin that also bears some lively fruits, and make life, possibly, more valuable and interesting because it IS hard.

Life can't be terminally frustrating. If it was, you wouldn't be alive, would you?
Life is certainly (less than terminally) frustrating at times. And I suppose, if someone was frustrated enough, they may end their life. But that's not the same as claiming that all life is terminally frustrating (to human beings?).
Not everyone dies of (serious) frustration. Not that I know of, at least. And if they did, I think there would be a lot more dead people.
Life is as frustrating as it is. Either meet the challenge, or, give up(?). Clearly a terminal disease, or something similar, could be called a frustration, but otherwise, simple, average, typical frustrations are not terminal.
I sure hope yours aren't.

Life is not terminally frustrating. Your perception of living might be though. You choose your own path, and whatever that might be, you can see it as frusrating or enlightening. As soon as you feel frustrated about a situation, stand back and pretend it is a good thing. It might really be. As an exercise, do what is done in a clkassic exercise for debate. Argue the side against what you believe in. Even do it for silly things, like which is better, coffee or tea? paper back or hard backed books? Anything. Soon you will slide right past some of the petty things in life that seems frusrating. You will become more rounded as a person too.

To tell you the truth Sunshine, the life may seem ultimately frustrating due to the following reasons :
a) In living the life we forget and move away from the purpose of life which is the essence of life itself.
b) When we are closer to this essence of life, we are happy, when we move away from it and drift along, not even a lot of instuments of pleasure can give us a lasting happiness
c) The noble souls who have reached the essence of life do not ever feel that the life is frustrating. In fact those noble souls are ever happy.
So ...
To make your life happy and fulfilling, go near and search for the basic essence of life, which I MAY want to call "Self Realization" Or "God Realization".
All the best in your search Sunshine.
May you succeed.

Depends which side you are looking. There is one sure thing...It will end. Life is frustrating if you pay to much attention or energy to events that you can not control. Life can be as frustrating as your attitude to live it. I you cant refocus your appreciation get a new friend, partner or psychiatric or spiritual help.
Life is beautiful, think of that, look at that. Good Luck!!!

the best thing to do is prioritize everything that is frustrating you to figure out just how important those situations are. i believe in the fact that most everyone spends too much time thinking about what really isn't necessary. as long as you have your health & your family, whatever else there is can wait.

I am 56 and a friend taught me a great phrase ... this too shall pass whether it be good or bad. We must realize that life goes on its highs and lows, and when we accept this, it makes it easier.

because history keeps on repeating itself. we make the same mistakes our ancestors made and our ancestors copied the same mistakes THEIR ancestors made, the cycle's just so redundant.
