Ok my sister was selling some shorts and she can't find them anymore... The problem is that the auction is over and they are now supposed to be sold. What should I do?

Just e-mail the successful bidder and explain the situation. most ebayers are just average people with a few knick-knacks to sell and, as a whole are generally very nice to deal with.
Just be honest and open from the outset and you should experience no problems.
The only exception to this would be if you got one of the very few mardy buyers who'll try and demand the product.
For more help, search ebay's help section on selling. there should be some advice there too.

Hi. I had a store on ebay for quite a while and sold a lot of stuff. I've had this sort of situation happen myself. Depending on if the winner already paid or not, you will need to notify them and let them know your situation. Apologize and be sure to refund the full price if they paid already. It's really easy to do if they used Paypal. If you find the shorts later, you can easily relist them without having to fill out the seller form again.

Hi there

All you can do is contact the buyer and inform them what has happened. If the auction hadn't finished, you could have ended the listing. As I said, contact the buyer and let them know. If they've already paid, sort them out with a refund.
