it doesn't just depend on your star sign, im a cancer and my husband is sagittarius, we are not spose to be matched ether, but ive been married more years than i care to remember andd have 4 wonderful children
according to star signs we don't match at all but when i did both our personal charts it showed just how well we are matched
it goes much deeper than just a star sign, your moon and rising signs are so important
that's why astrology is so accurate, very very few people are born at exactly the same time in exactly the same place
The Sun Sign is what most people know without a doubt. It is also (usually) the most obvious part of the personality. The Sun is the conscious self. It is the behaviour one is most comfortable with. It is the every day, fair-weather self. But there is much more to you than your Sun Sign...
. when emotions run high....
That's when the Moon Sign comes out. We generally react in emotional situations according to the Moon Sign. This is the primal, subconscious self. You may even fantasize about behaving more like that sign, but it may not feel natural to you unless you're filled with happiness or sadness or anger. The Moon Sign also comes out when you feel very safe - either by yourself or with people you trust.
But what about...
The Rising Sign? This is the most difficult element of the chart to explain, but may be even more important than the Sun Sign. In a nutshell, it is the Higher Self. You came into this life with one of the 12 signs of the zodiac on the horizon. This sign represents your horizon - your aspirations, what you look for in the world, and what you want to reflect. It is not surprising that much of your outward appearance, or the way you present yourself to others is determined by the Rising Sign,

astrology, sun signs and star signs are not clear cut. there are many things which can influence you charts such as positions of other planets. for example just knowing therising sign can add an awful lot to a reading.
However don't forget the old addage 'opposite attracts'. Even though teo signs may apear to be completly different from each other that does not meen they do not work well together. Two opposing signs often work well together as they offer each other balnces and control. for example a virgo can offer temperance to the fire of an aries and the aries can add a bit of a sparkt o more placid virgoes. You often find that relationships with opposing signs do last for quite a long time in the end, because to overcome the differences each part has to realy put the effort in and thus ends up building a very deeo relationship (not to say that other people dont put effort in, but sometimes when there are obstacles to overcome, it goes that little bit further).

No one can predict just according to star signs. we, in indian astrology have a specially generated chart for match making. In that there are total of 36 points and minimum of 18 points are required for a good match. And there are many different aspects in horoscope that one has to see to predict the future and the match making. Everything cannot be explained here. So, just keep in mind, astrology is a humongous subject. One cannot predict just by compatibility of star signs.

Astrology is only there to give us an idea of what the best matches are for each signs. It does not necessarily mean that you would not get along with any other signs. I think that its great that you and your husband have been together for as long as you have. I'd say to forget all about astrology and horoscopes and focus on your relationship.

I am an Aquarian and my husband is a Virgo, these two signs are not meant to be together. We have been married for 16 years this July. It has not been all pain sailing though, at times it is tough.
