Enlightenment (an ironic name indeed): The Nazis exterminated 2/3 of Europe's Jews in 12 years. Israel has killed maybe 20,000 "Palestinians"---fewer than Jordan killed during Black September---in 49 years. You do the math.

Masterjack: Interesting idea, but Palestine was partitioned twice already. In 1922, 80% of it went to the Arabs; the remaining 20% was supposed to be Israel. But the Arabs, many of whom sided with the Nazis during WW2, refused to play nice, so Palestine was partitioned again, and the Arabs got just under half of the remaining 20%.

Brainstorm: The supposed "terror gangs" were founded to protect Jews after the infamous Hebron massacre, because they learned the hard way that the Brits wouldn't. It was the arabs who said "Itback al-Yahud." The only "ethnic clensing" was done by the Arab Muslims, against Jews and Christians, and the racist here is you.

Oscar: You, like most Jew-haters, use the typical Arab propaganda which blindly and factlessly blames the so-called "Zionist invasion" for the Arabs' woes. Israel never stole a single millimeter of land. What they didn't by legally from Ottoman and Arab (yes, Arab) land owners they won as a result of defensive wars. It was the Arabs who sided with Hitler during WW2. It was the Arabs whose riots convinced the Brits to seal off immigration to Jewish refugees, condemning six million of them to death. And it was the Arabs whose fascist dictators invaded Israel on the day she was born, have refused to accept her existence, and have been actively trying to destroy her since. First by invasion, then by terrorists, then by slander, which Jew-haters are all to eager to believe.

To compare Israel to Nazis Germany is the most dispicable Jew-hatred there is, and those who do deserve all the scorn you receive.

The claim is a complete libel that no one with a bit of knowledge or understanding can countenance.

The current PLO and Arab claim (and mainstream media regurgitation of it) is indeed a very distorted version of `recorded history' and can only qualify as pure Orwellian propaganda. In fact, putting aside all the myths and propaganda, the only area that would qualify historically as truly Arab land is the Arabian desert peninsula. Unfortunately, it seems that Goebbels was correct in stating that if a lie were repeated often enough, it would come to be "perceived" as truth.

Palestinian leaders claim that Israel is built on Arab land, when the truth is that eyewitnesses such as Mark Twain and Rev. Manning of England who visited the Holy Land in the 19th century wrote that the land was barren and empty. The population then was less that 5% of today's population.

In fact, the return of the Jews in 1800's and early 1900's created jobs, and Arabs from impoverished areas were drawn into the Holy Land for work.

In 1948, so many Arabs were new to the area and could not qualify for the UN requirement for refugee status (people forced to leave "permanent" or "habitual" homes) that they added a clause permitting refugee status for Arabs who had been there as few as two years.

Thus, the Zionist slogan "The Land without a people for the people without a land" was absolutely correct. The slogan did not mean that there were no inhabitants at all in Palestine, it just indicated that the non-Jewish population constituted a conglomeration of dozens of heterogeneous groups of residents having very little in common, i.e. not constituting a single nation, a people. These residents were not united by any specific national idea.

The Balfour declaration for the first time established a unit called Palestine on a political map. ...There was no such thing historically as a 'Palestinian Arab', and there was no feeling of unity among the Arabs of this newly defined area.

After what the Nazis did to the Jewish people, there is no way they would ever be guilty of treating another people anything like what some on here like to claim! The only thing that Israel does is defend herself! They never go looking for trouble, it seeks them out!
I will never understand why some people hate the Jewish race, it boggles my mind! Even some who profess to be Christians! Don't they realize that the man they call Savior came into this world as a Jew? Lived as a Jew & followed the Jewish laws? He claimed that he came not to change the law but to explain the law, guess a lot of people missed that part in the new Testament! I really tire of reading so much hate of the Jewish race. I have never had a Jewish person treat me badly & I'll bet most of the one's going on about them so hatefully haven't either!

To make such a disgraceful claim would be possible only by someone with no knowledge of history or of current events.

Nazism was the culmination of 2000 years of anti-Semitism and attempted to eliminate the entire Jewish people.

In contrast, Zionism is the movement to re-establish and maintain a homeland for the Jews.

The Arabs have 22 states, while in contrast, the Jewish people have only one, and even that the Muslims are trying to take away form them.

It is futile and imature to compare Israel to the Nazi regime, however their are similarities. In 1948 Palestine was successfully invaded by Zionists who couldn't have cared less about the Arab inhabitants of the country, they were despised because they were Arab [similar to Hilter's hatred of Jews because they were Jews]. Iraeli settlers who invade Palestinian land regularly call for the extermination of the Arab Palestinians, any similarities between nazism and the Israeli occupation?...certainly

I got a solution, the land of "Israel" should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.
BOTH side would be COMPLETELY disarmed

In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Stationed there should be 200,000 man Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.

As the H.Q. of the the world's diplomatic body there would be global interest and motivation to maintain a peaceful, equitably prosperous region.

This solution creates peace in the region and gets the U.N. out of New York .

***In response***

Yeah it was done before but haphazardly and without firm resolve. Europe has traditionally been wishy washy when dealing with Palestine depending on who's interest when is being forwarded.

This time with U.N. HQ located in the Jerusalem corridor it won't be left to the biased and unresolved Europeans alone to work out this issue.

Read what the Zionists did to found the state of Israel. They formed terror gangs and carried out ethnic cleansing on the Christian and Muslim Palestinians. The jews are the original racists. They call themselves the chosen people and despise all other races describing them as gentiles.

The same way the Jews are alive, the Nazis didn't exterminate them all, just many of them.
