This is a complete scam. Do not fall for it. The check is not real...photocopy it, and the word "VOID" comes up bright and clear. I researched it on the net, and another guy, who got the same check, was taken for $2,962. After depositing it, they will want you to call back with your bank info - which will allow them to pull out the amount of the check BEFORE it clears. Thats the scam.

I've also just today received the same kind of check in the mail. from Best Way Processing Center. I guess I'm supposed to call the Megan Green 1-902-412-9511 an accredited agent of united Kingdom Random Lotto. The check that I also received was for 2962.00 To help me pay for tax and administrative expenses. But I also took the Number that was listed in the corner of the check 519-992-3664. and a man answered and also verified this check number and what not I've tried calling this Megan Green but I also have my doubts. I'm going to look into it further and if it legit yippee for me! if Not you can bet I will be handling **** like this to authorities to investigate

Scam!
You cannot win a lottery you didn't enter. Besides, international lotteries are illegal in the United States. Millions of us get this kind of junk everyday. There's a few in my box right now.
If you're skeptical already, listen to your gut, it's not real. The check is phony and you'll end up owing the bank the $2,000.
You never have to pay money for fees or taxes before you have your winnings in hand. Just the fact that they sent you a check just for that reason should send up a red flag!
We would all like free money to cure us of our financial woes, but...If it's too good to be true, it probably is.
Throw this crap in the trash.

I got the same letter for the same thing. They sent me a check for over 2K and told me to deposit. I went to my bank today and did just that but I am so skeptical of this as well. I dont know what to do. I was happy to hear that your check didnt bounce and I hope that mine dont but I am not sure if I will take it any farther than that. Please let me know if you do send the money in to pay for fees. I wish you the best of luck.

I RECEIVED A CHECK EXACTLY LIKE THIS A FEW DAYS AGO FROM THE SAME PLACE. I LOOKED UP THE ROUTING NUMBER ON THE CHECK AND IT IS LEGIT. I ALSO CALLED AND THEY TOLD ME TO DEPOSIT THE CHECK TO RELEASE THE HOLD ON THE OTHER CHECK AND TO CALL THEM BACK THE NEXT DAY. WELL, I CALLED THEM BACK YESTERDAY, BUT NO ANSWER. THE LADY ALSO STATED THAT I SHOULD RECEIVE THE OTHER CHECK THROUGH UPS. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE RECEIVED THIS AND TOOK IT A STEP FURTHER.

No, the check is NOT legitimate. It is a scam. Not only will the check bounce if you put it in your account, but we have been told one older couple had another $4,000 drawn out of their account after they deposited this check. Do Not deposit it.
