Here's the thing, Johnny's a very gracious person, however, i'm sure he gets hundreds, if not, thousands, of letters a day. Also, he's like, never in his office b/c he's out filming. Chances are, he'll probably receive your letter and read it, but the chances of him responding are slim to none. He is a very busy man, 2 kids, a wife, and one of the biggest film careers on the planet.
If he were to write back, it might be months or years. He's in London now filming "Sweeny Todd" and then he'll have to come back to the states to do the Pirates 3 premier and the publicity tour. The man is litterally booked through 2008 for acting, and 2009 for producing.
2 months is a reletively short time in the life of a celebrity. He probably won't return from London for another 2-3 months. I wish i could tell you that you could expect a letter from him tomorrow, but i'd be lying. Looking for another address won't really help, sorry.

In all honesty, I wouldn't hold your breath. Stars get thousands of fan letters every day, some get through to the actual star, others go to secretaries who answer for the star, and other times, they just get sent to the round file. These actors have a lot to do with their acting careers and taking that many letters and personally answering them is at least one if not several full time jobs in addition to their own. If you get a response at all I would be elated, but it's likely that you wont so you should accept that. It's nothing personal, its just that you are only one fan out of THOUSANDS that write him all the time especially right now since he's had so many successful films right in a row there has likely been in increase in his mail volume. so sorry to say it but, don't expect to contact him.

It's probably his fan club's address. He won't answer you personally but someone from his fan club will. It usually takes several months.
