Once in awhile I get e-mails from places such as surveys.com that say I can make money doing this on line work. I need to try something new and make some money and it sounds interesting. Has anyone had any experience doing this kind of thing to enhance your income or is it a rip-off?

Surveys Companies that solicit you without your asking, are risky. you are better off going with a known survey site that you have asked for information from, than one that is approaching you out of the blue.

I have worked and promoted survey sites for two years. Some pay cash for surveys, others pay with points. Once you complete so many surveys and accumulate points you can redeem them for either cash or a prize.

Most of the free survey sites work this way. Paid survey sites generally speaking, depending on the company, will pay you cash. All offer free products for you to test and keep. I know of three excellent paid survey sites that I have personally worked with and they are very reliable. Another form of survey is Mystery Shopper. Mystery Shopper is free.

As with any online business it takes time to build up an income, you have to diligent about filling out the surveys and getting them back to the companies in the time alloted.

There are several good articles written on surveys. Do your research and have fun.

Good Luck

First, do NOT sign up for anything through un-solicited e-mails (unless it's a referral from someone you know personally). They could be phishing schemes trying to get your information--even if they claim to be from a legitimate surveys site. I got an e-mail earlier this year claiming to be from a company that I was already signed up with "inviting me to join." I thought that was strange so I contacted them (through their website, not through the e-mail), and sure enough, they didn't send it and had nothing to do with it. So be careful. And never EVER give your credit card info to any survey site. No legitimate site will need it.

If you're interested in taking surveys I know a lot of good ones. I've listed and reviewed them here:

I also have a section on avoiding scams which you can find here:

I have, on rare occasions, made anywhere from 1-$8 for a survey from NFO.com and surveyspot.com. You'll never make a living doing it, honestly. I do them for fun. A better bet would be something like findfocusgroups.com, which lists local studies willing to pay by the hour. You can usually also find such studies in the employment sections of your local craigslist.org webpage. Living in seattle, I see a lot of technology focus groups and surveys that pay around $60 an hour. Of course, you have to fit the profile they're looking for at the time, so no guarantees there either.

Getting paid to take surveys has actually been around for awhile but it has only recently become more popular. Although many people think getting paid to do online surveys is a gimmick or a scam, you can actually yield some decent profits by devoting your time and effort to it. An important factor to being successful at earning money for paid surveys online is that you must sign up with as many survey companies as possible. This will increase your chances of being able to qualify for more surveys and thereby completing them for payments. Your gender, age and demographics will disqualify you for certain surveys, so the more companies you sign up with the better your chances are of getting surveys that you do qualify for so that you can get paid!

To your prosperity,
Epiphany

The offers which you receive via E-Mail are all Scams as well as the Advertisements that are displayed.
You need to develop some skills and then look for a job where you can use those skills.

I have tried all those several time, it is time consuming and haven't got a cent out of it. Even if they really pay, the return is very small compared to the time you spend on it. Might as well do something as which is much easier and more profitable. Try this web sites http://www.vemmabuilder.com/260743005 or http://www.website.ws/ahmadsofian . I really make money out of it. Thanks
