They divorced only by mutual agreement in 1998. They were married for over 25 years. They were togther for 30. That's a long time for any couple. They met while attending Boston University together. They travled all over the country while Howard was making a name for hismelf in the radio business. They lived in various cities such as Detroit, and Washington D.C. before Howard became the King of All Media.
Allison is now re-married and very happy. Howard is eganged to his long-time girlfriend, Beth Ostrosky. However, they plan on staying engaged for many years.
Howard had a great marriage, and raised a great family!

I think things started going down hill really fast when she had a miscarriage. Besides, would you want to be married to a jerk like him.
