from your chlldhood that you'd like to forget?

I remember being in a department store w/my mom, I was probably in 3rd grade or so. She was stealing things and putting them in her purse. I asked for a Barbie doll and she stole it for me. I remember that like it was yesterday. And boy, I have others. Do you have any you'd like to forget???

My mom used to change price stickers...... that was back when they just used the peel off kind that didn't come off in pieces. She also used to buy candy bars when she took me grocery shopping with her and we had to hurry up and eat them and throw the wrappers out the car window before we got home so dad didn't know we had them. so yeah, I was taught at an early age that SOME kinds of lying and stealing were OK, and it was very confusing to a little kid to know when it was OK and when it wasn't.

When I was 8 , we were driving to church and saw a bunch of cop cars on the side of the street. There was a lady sprawled down the front steps of a house that was right up on the street. Her head was propped up next to her and the cops were taking pictures. On our way home, we drove by again and the fire dept was there hosing the blood off the sidewalk. I live in a fairly small town, I still think about what I saw every time I drive by. It's on a main street, so that is quite often.

I'd like to forget when the police took my mom away. Of course it was a mistaken identity but it was horrible. They asked to see my mom and they put her in handcuffs and took her away. I was all alone in the house for the whole day and I wouldn't stop crying.I thought she was gone forever.

When I was like 5 years old I went shopping with my father and I saw this woman with really short hair and I ask her was she a man or woman. My father was so embarrassed and at 22 years old he never lets me forget it lol.

Yes. My mother got mad at me for something or other. I was about 4 years old and she was so mad that she grabbed my hair and literally lifted me off the ground with my feet dangling and she shook me by my hair! And like you, I have many others that I could tell. But mine are of abuse from both of my parents.
