Not necessarily. Some people, like me, just like their privacy and dont want wondering ears to listen in on their private/personal conversations.
However, sometimes the person is in fact hiding something. This is a touchy subject. I think you need more reasons than this to think your BF is cheating.

I don't know how old you are but I have to say that he is probably
keeping something a secret. It is usually another woman.

I dated a guy several years ago, and I was just head over heels.
I only seen him on weekends cause we lived so far away from
eachother, but anyway, one night I went to his house during the
week, and it was after midnight. He wasn't there. I waited for
two hours, and then I went home. He to used to take calls
and go outside or use the phone when I went to the bathroom to
get a shower and things like that. Anyway I called him the next
day to see when we were getting together just to see what he
would say and he said we should get together that night. During
our conversation I asked him what he did the night before and
he told me he went to bed early, cause he was so tired from
his job. So when I went to his house that night, I went to
break it off with him, so I arrived very early. He always came
home at lunch to feed his dog, so I was at his home at noon.

He was surprised that I was there so early he was totally
caught off guard. I stayed at his house while he went back to
work, and I noticed an over night bag by the doorway and when
he left I went through it. There were condoms in it and underwear, and an e-mail he printed out from some girl. He had
been with her sexually, and I sat in his kitchen thinking what a
fool I was, then the phone rang and it was the woman who he
had spent the night previously with, she wanted to just leave
him a message to say what a good time she had. He was
seeing four other women besides me. I left and I can tell you
that your gut feelings are usually right. Don't let this guy take
you for a fool. Ask him flat out who he's talking to on the phone
and why he can't take the call with you around. If you don't
like his answer get rid of him. Cause there are alot of good guys
out there.

Very much so he shouldn't have anything so secret that he runs outside away from you. From personal experience, my husband has cheated on me that same way with an excuse that he naturally cannot have a phone conversation with someone else around.

I would ask him to explain why he always goes outside to talk on the phone. There is no reason to go outside unless he has something to hide.it does not necessarily mean he is cheating but it probably means he is doing something he knows is wrong or he wouldn't try to hide it.

Possibly. My hubby was always going to garage with his cell phone. I put the baby monitor in the garage and caught him red handed. He was calling some 24 year old from work. Y ou probably know the rest of this story.

You need to ask him why useing outside phone? Ask him if he is cheating?

Um...yeah, it sounds like it. What excuses does he give? It is possible that he's not cheating, but it doesn't sound good. Does he go out with his friends a lot too? Like for "guys night out" and stuff like that?

He's either extremely polite, or doing something extremely on the low. You pick.

no but it is kinda weird that he does that just ask him why he always does it he might think you are accusing him so be ready for a possible argument.
