If you could move to any state in the USA, what would it be and why? The reason why I'm asking is because I currently live in VA and i'm ready to just move and start a new beginning.

Kansas Near The rolling Hills Or Milford Lake, or Missourri , Near the Ozarks, scenery and quiet areas.

I live in Aurora, Colorado which is a suburb of Denver. We love it. Lots of things to do in Denver. I don't know how old you are, but there are museums, the zoo, lots of clubs especially in LoDo(downtown Denver). Skiing about an hour away. The mountains are beautiful. Nice weather (most of the time, this winter has been different). Lots of shopping, galleries, malls outlets.
Good resturants. I've lived elsewhere and traveled to over 1/2 of USA, always end up back here.

I just visited Upstate New York to check out the area since I'm moving there in a few months to continue my degree. I love it there since the atmosphere is different than Las Vegas, and somewhat similar to the Bay Area in CA.
