I have many favourite songs. However, my favourite song has changed multiple times due to the fact that more bands are being introduced to the music world. My favourite right now though would probably be here in your arms by hellogoodbye. I think it is a great song that starts out slow, but then speeds up during the chorus.

I think you have a great taste of music and if you want to know sme more music you can email me.

have a great day

I'm a real old person; my favourite song of all time is "Vincent"
by Don Maclean from 1972 I think. I will always associate it with the 70's, the long flowing skirts, the embroidered jeans, the cheesecloth shirts, the long hair; and that was just the fellas!
It brings me back to a more innocent time, when the world was a hopeful place. It can still stop me dead in my tracks when I hear the opening bars

1. I Heard It Through The Grapevine - Marvin Gaye: Just about the perfect song - great tune, great lyrics, and one of the best singers ever giving his best performance. Sublime ... and it reminds me of my youth

2. Fools Gold - Stone Roses: The song that got me listening to rock music again after years of listening to nothing but soul, jazz and reggae

3. Marrakesh Express - Crosby Stills & Nash: The song that showed me there was more to music than simple pop music ... the first "grown up" record I ever bought

4. Watching The Detectives - Elvis Costello : Brilliant song, and a constant on the jukebox of our local pub as I pursued the girl who is still my wife

5. Shining Brightly - Brinsley Schwartz : Brilliant song which almost no-one has ever heard. Found the record in a second-hand shop. Bought it because it was very cheap. Still brings a huge smile to my face when I play it

This question is impossible to answer with just one song. At this specific moment one person may have one song they put above the rest but two weeks from now there will be a different song that is the new favorite. There's so much good music out there I can't choose. Music means everything to me and for me to name all the songs I like....well let's just say I can't fit it in Yahoo's space limit =D

Its my favourite among the hundreds and hundreds song that I love but it has a special meaning.

American Woman by the Guess Who. It was the very first rock song I heard way back in 1971 that turn me to rock music and for that this song has a special place in my heart.

"Refugee" by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
I saw this front row at ACL fest 2006 and I was pretty much delirious with happiness.
The delirium might be cause' I had been waiting 11 hours to assure my front row spot in the wonderful Texas heat, though.
