When I was (probably about to turn) 10, I was in McCurdy's department store in Rochester, NY. My mom worked in the lingerie department and had to step away for a few minutes. A lady came in and I attempted to help her in her purchase. During our conversation, I commented on a unique watch she was wearing (a bubble watch). She was very nice to me and learned that I had a birthday coming. I handled the lady's purchase, my mom returned and I headed out on an errand for her. When I returned, she said the lady I'd helped had left a package, a "birthday gift" for me. It was a Cinderella watch. I looked all over for her to thank her, but never found her. I still remember (35 yrs. later) this act of kindness. Do you have such a memory?

I was about 12 when a friend of my mom's came to the house. She brought her parents over who lived in Wisconsin, they were so nice.
They spent the afternoon with us and had dinner with me, my single mom, and my little sister and baby brother.
A few weeks later a package arrived at our door, it was from her parents and it was blocks of Wisconsin Cheese.
It was sooo good, we made those blocks of cheese last as long as we could.
That was over 36 years ago. It was such a loving thing to do.
I'll never forget them.

one time, when I was 2, I got bit in the face by a dog. Even as young as I was I remember it. Then I used to sit with my pap and eat prunes all day long. My parents told me not to, but I was a stubborn little punk. I ended up pooping my pants. Not a pleasant memory.
