What exactly is arthritis?.....I'm only 14?!?..my knee has been hurting for about 2 weeks and my mom won't do anything...what can I do to help it.

I have knee problems too. (I am 14.) I wear a brace sometimes, you can get them at Rite-Aid or somewhere for about $10. If it's swollen you should try an ice pack. Also, if you hear a cracking sound you could have broken something. There is also something you can get (I forget what it's called) where bone spurs break off you knee, but that usually makes your lower leg hurt. If it doesn't go away soon I would suggest going to the doctor, try to convince your mom.

Maybe you injured or re-injured your knee.....Could be accumulated fluid there.If you haven't hurt yourself just take a couple of Ibuprophens and relax .This is a good medication for any inflammation .and does well with pain too...Relax.....

i think so my sis has the same thing and has arthritis
