I am looking at becoming a research pharmacist and I am just now preparing to go to college. I am looking at Biochemistry but are there any other majors that are more perferable or would work as well as a biochemistry degree?
Also what is the difference between say a PhD in Pharmacuetical Sciences and a PharmD? I am looking at the UNC School of Pharmacy and I see they offer both and I see that pharmacuetical research have both kinds of doctors. I want to do research and not really as interested in being a practicing pharmacist at a Walgreens or anything.
