General stupidity. They don't understand. Or, they are curious and secretly want to know what really goes on in a gay relationship. By the way, I'm not gay, but, I do think that people should just be allowed to be who they are. I also believe that homosexuality is a biological thing. I don't think it can be consciously controlled who you are sexually attracted to. I hope one day, and soon, our government will realize this. Just my 2 cents.

because many people just don't like anything that's different from what they think is normal. I think that anyone being gay/bi is alright, hell I'm bi and there's nothing wrong with me lol. A whole lot of people go by their religious beliefs too about the situation, in my opinion, it doesn't matter to me what orientation you are, it depends on what kind of person you are inside and the way you treat others is what matters and what people should judge you with instead of just saying that you're a bad person only because you're gay or bisexual. that's a bunch of bullsh*t to me.

Because they believe that if you aren't like them, then you are a weird person and are an alien or something. It is the same thing with religions sometimes. My advice for you is if they stare at you, you stare back, and if that does not help, Wave and smile casually.

The only thing that I can say is the misery enjoys company and they are miserable people, unsatisfied with their own lives. They want everyone around them to be the same.

because they're not totally secure with themselves and lack proper education, ettiquette, and upbringing. it might also have to do with the area you live in. here in new york homophobia really isn't too big a problem for me.

I'm sorry but it's the way the world is. People can't stand anything different from them or what they believe is normal.

Unfortunately some people (more often then not) are close minded or ignorant and can't accept other people for who they are no matter how nice the other person is.

I blame poor parenting, and a lack of real "Family Values". In my family, we were taught to "Do onto others as you would have done onto you".
