Generally speaking yes. Now some don't get nearly as ft as others but they all will get some extra thickness to them

fish always have eggs but yes they do get fat when they have eggs especially around spawning

Er..else it will only means she have lesser eggs in her sacs..
Or worst still, she have indigestion or is suffering from internal injury..

All fish get big when thay are pregnant. If you fish is big and you don't know if it is pregnant.. it could be constipation so you should read this: http://www.healthybetta.com/articles/Illness%20Diagonsis/constipation.html
