I have found that it was true in my case that the hair in my pubic area when I must shave there does get thicker and coarser. Same with my legs. I never noticed it with my underarms when I used to shave there.

It will not grow thicker, nor will there be more than before. It is generally a coincidence that when most girls start shaving is when their hormones go into overdrive and their hair starts to grow faster. It also becomes thicker and darker, naturally. Also, your hair feels coarser when it first starts to grow out after shaving anyway.

The old wives tail says yes, but it's really not true.... it feels more course and thick but it's just blunt- if that was true why doesn't it grow back thicker when we get a haircut? Shave- bald is sexy! =o)

I have noticed when I shave it comes in darker than before, and thicker. It just depends on the person and thier genes.

Yes, its not "scientifically" proven, but I have had some experience and it will grow back thicker.
