hi.. i am indian and i have dark black hair. My skin color is moderately fair. I wanted to use John frieda brillant brunette shampoo, conditioner, and color glaze to give my hair more shine. I am not allowed to dye my hair nor do i wish to. Will using these products change the color of my hair or will it just make it shiny. If the shampoo changed the color of your hair, please tell me.

I've been using it for a while, and it doesn't change your color at all. However I don't find it to make my hair any more shiny than other shampoos, although i love the smell.

The shampoo enriched the color of my hair slightly but it also made my scalp itch and my hair feel dry.

The conditioner was okay. Didn't care much for the color glaze.

Check out Pantene - they have a new line specifically for dark black hair.
