Does handwriting matter?

I'm just curious if handwriting matters. I have a lot of compliments about my handwriting (printed and cursive) especially from my teachers and some people that looks at my handwriting.

So do you think that handwriting is important and can it tell us what kind of person (personality, characteristics, etc) someone is?

Yes handwriting does matter on such things on job applications. You want your handwriting to be legible and neat. kudos on your good handwriting.

The only time handwriting matters is when filling out a paper job application. Computers are the future. And I'm sure you can take a course and be able to tell a little bit about someone's personality by analyzing their handwriting, but it's not like you'll be a psychic or anything.

Sometimes people think that when a person has good handwriting, it means that the pesron is very organized and neat. Some people think that handwriting can tell alot about a person. On papers, handwriting can tell weather the paper belongs to a girl or boy.(most of the time)

It's good to have neat handwriting but handwriting isn't a
window into your inner self.
The nicest, most brilliant person I've ever known had such
horrible handwriting it was almost un-readable.
It sounds as if you do well in society. I'd guess that people
think just as well of your character as they do of your handwriting.

And yes, the FBI looks at writing styles for psychological clues.

hm. some say you can tell a person's personality, intellect, ect ect. by just looking at their handwriting. i don't really think that's true because some of the nicest people have the ugliest writing, some of the smartest people too. i mean. you can sure tell if i person is careless when they write. but not the whole cha-bang. mhm, mhm.

Maybe. I'm not sure what neat or sloppy handwriting would actually mean though. They do have handwriting analysis though

i dont think it tells personality because we are so used to doing it the way we do that for example, i always make 7s with a dash in them, and i cannot stop this it is just a habit. however it is nice to have legible handwriting

my teacher said, handwriting tells what your personality is... when your handwriting pattern is to left it means you are selfish but when it goes straight or to right it means that you can stand alone, independent etc...

yes handwriting is important especially when it comes to filling out any important papers. i heard those who are creative or artsier have really nice penmanship
