there are only three things you need to make a engine run fuel, air, fire. if your fuel pump is running the next thing you should check is the spark plugs to see if they are sparking. the best way to check your plugs is to pull them one at a time, look for carbon build up (dark thick crusty build up). if they seem to be clean then while you have them out plug the wire back on it- lean it on the engine and have someone turn the engine over . if you see a blue spark then you have good fire, red spark is a weak fire.if that doesn't help you in any way then you might consider calling a repair shop.

Start by checking th efuel pressure. A pump can run but if pressure is low it might not start or might die out on you. Also try the fuel filter. Is the engine getting gas at all? Do you have spark?

Well if fuel is going in, then either the spark plugs are bad or the engine ain't drawing air. Probaly the spark plugs. It could be a broken distuber off the camshaft too.

The first thing is to see if there are any error codes in the computer. That could make things simple for you. It wouldn't hurt to get a tune up either. You most likely need plugs, distributor cap, plug wires, fuel filter, air filter.

first jump start the blazer when it starts remove one cable from the battery this is to check if the alternator is working if it is the blazer should stay on if it doesn't you will need to replace the alternator, your battery might also need to be replaced if it is new or not that old just leave it, also check to see if the battery terminals are tightened they shouldn't be loose, also check the fuse of the starter it should be in the fuse box it goes out before the starter in most cases. Good Luck!!!
