You can prove it to them by making mature and intelligent decisions and being more responsible. This will always work to your advantage.

Well for a start you are not dumb or you would not be able to use a computer so pat yourself on the back for that &
never say to yourself that you are dumb or an idiot or fool or any bad name
correct yourself if you do & say well I may be a fool some of the time but not always
always praise yourself up when you are nice, kind clever or even smile at someone or say hello to someone or you tidy your room or make your bed or what ever good you do
if you are good you do deserve praise & if no one will give it to you
GIVE IT TO YOURSELF because you do deserve it
try to get some new mates
even if you join the youth clubs at school or after school
all it takes is to just be strong
tell your old mates you want to get on in life &
you want to study & stop all the rot you are doing
Ask your parents for help they will know how to help you
just choose to be good its always your choice you know
good luck have a happy life & dont email any creeps on here
see the school counselor as well

Stop being dumb and irresponsible. Dump the wrong crowd, concerntrate on study, and join a sporting team. Then help out your mum at home with the washing, housework, and kitchen duties....let her know you care about your position in the family, and she in turn with give you a little leniency and respect- same for your dad....but really; start to act like you're growing up, not acting up. Part of being smart and responsible is thinking before acting, taking up a part time job and contributing to family and the household in general. Just try putting the rest of your family first- I guarantee a change in your attitude, and your parents.

Be smart and responsible.
Don't have trouble in school.
Hang out in the right crowd.
Get good grades.
I bet if you do that you'll also be happier.

This is not a wise@$$ answer. It really is that simple. If you decide that you deserve better and work toward it, you'll feel better.
