This terrific writer of good versus evil wrote over 30 books, including "The Captain & the Kings", and "Dialogues with the Devil". I would like a whole set of hardcover, but just don't kow who would do this. Any suggestions?

I suppose she's out of print because she's considered old-fashioned nowadays; this happens to most authors in the period after their death, before they can be rediscovered by later generations. In Caldwell's case, she's probably also hurt by the fact that she was so popular during her lifetime: there are so many used copies of her novels floating around that a publisher might have a hard time selling a new edition.

I'd suggest you take advantage of that fact to use amazon.com and your local used bookstores: I'd bet you could assemble a complete and good-looking Caldwell collection for well less than a thousand dollars, if you have time and patience.
