Instead of talking about Anna's life and what she was like, it seemed like he was using her funeral as an opportunity to lash out at his and her enemies.
And did you hear when he said that Anna was no longer there to "protect" him? Dind't he mean SUPPORT his mooching self?

Wow, you were reading my mind. I did like Howard, even though I knew he's the underdog and Larry Birkheart is Danny Lynn's father. Howard was lashing out, trying to get the last word in. You're exactly right, Anna said her son wasn't there to protect her and now Howards sugar mama/girlfriend has passed. The more and more I read into all of the Anna N hype, the less I'm liking Howard. As a man shouldn't of he been there to protect Anna? What's even worse is Anna's mother was still trying to appeal the burial DURING the funeral and have her grandson's body dug up and bring both Anna and Danielle back to Texas. It's all about the $. Rest in Peace both of their souls.

yeah, Anna was howard's meal ticket. that is why now that she is not around to support his lazy A$s, he sold the rights to her funeral to Entertainment Tonight. He is profiting off of her even in her death. I think he killed her AND her son. Did you know that Anna Nicole had 7, yes 7, life insurance policies taken out on her, and that her son Daniel was the beneficary. Then when he died under mysterious circumstances, Howard became the beneficiary. Now doesn't that seem like motive for murder? Also, Howard claims that he wants to take care of the baby, yet he still tells Larry Birkhead that he will hand over Dannielynn if Larry gives him half of the baby's fortune. Howard does not give a sh!t about that baby, he only wants the money! That is all any of them want.

The whole thing is a play.
Really, do you think Anna's mother would held her daughter for weeks? No, she probably wouldn't, but she know that she need to play the 'greedy mother pretending to be the upset grieving mother' role, since she know if she didn't, her family probably could end up in a much worse situation.
Howard is probably also playing, he played the 'villain pretending to be the upset grieving spouse' role, since he know if he didn't, he probably could end up in a much worse situation.
As for Anna no longer there to protect Stern.
I'm affraid that might have been a real statement.
Out of all the involved parties Stern got the most to lose and the most vulnerable (pretty much thanks to his dependance on Anna's support and protection).
And really, after Anna, the next one that could end up dead is Stern.
The old man, his son, Anna's son, and Anna. There's a pattern.

Very inappropriate! Those of you however that are calling him a golddigger. WHAT MONEY! She had very little money. Everything hinged on her getting money out of the Marshall estate. COME ON PEOPLE. Use logic! HE LOVED HER! watch the Anna Nicole Show and you will see that he loved her. Anna was very demanding and in case you hadn't heard anyone that worked for her she demanded ONLY WORK FOR HER!

What you are saying is new to me. I haven't heard what he said at the funeral.
I will have to say though without knowing what he said, I would definitely say that all he cares about is himself. I do not believe for one minute that he cared about her. Her money was supporting him and he didn't have to do much but supply her with drugs.
That sounds like a pretty easy job to me. Stay around a beautiful woman and keep her drugged up, getting thousands of dollars for it? Where can I apply?

Leave Howard alone, He has done nothing wrong, he didn't kill Daniel, he didn't kill Anna, he is not going to kill that baby, he loved Anna, he devoted his life to her, he was not in it for the money, what money??? The little girl, just like Anna will never see a dime from the Marshall estate. Howard practically raised Daniel and he tried to protect Anna, protect her from herself, he did everything for her, you don't stay with someone who treats you like crap for 10 years for money..their were genuine feeling for her, I was on a plane from La to New york with them once, her son and that Kimmie girl was on board too...Anna was drinking too much, Howard told her no more, she told him to go **** himself, it was only after her son told her to shut up that she did. Howard has been drug through the mud, when all he was trying to do was honor her last wishes!!

Howard K. Stern is a male golddigger who probably killed both Anna Nicole Smith and her son! He's human scum and I hope he ends up in jail someday!
Needless to say, it didn't suprise me to see how inappropriate he was at the funeral today - what else would you expect from a "man" of his low caliber???

He's a loser. I didn't expect him (or anyone else concerned) to actually have compassion for Anna. I'm not surprised that he showed his true colors. Now I hope that they'll all shut up about it.

Completely inappropriate! He is a GOLDIGGER!!! He had something to do with her and Daniels deaths. He killed them both and knew exactly how to do it and not get caught! He is planning on living off that child for the rest of his life! I hope for her sake that he is not her father!!!
