Everyone says that the best buy employee discount is cost +5%....i don't get what the means....so what would the final price be if something costs $40?

what this means... is Best Buy is selling the item to you for 5% above their cost for that item... for instance... a tv sells retail for $200.00 and Best Buy, buys that tv for $120.00... then you could buy that tv for $120.00 + 5%... which would be $126.00

just take 5% of $40 .. so it'd be $2 off. final price would be $38 then.
