3 weeks ago my girlfriend out of the blue, stopped speaking to me and went away for a week without telling me. After she returned she told me she needed a break from her work and that is why she left. But keep in mind for that week she never tried to contact me and we always talked everyday before this. We talked and worked things out and were getting alone great. She tells me again she needs a break from her job and promised me she would tell me if she decided to go away (out of town). Well, it's been 5 days and I have not heard anything from her. I have so many bad ideas about the situation going through my head and I don't know what to think. Anyone have any suggestion about why she would do it again? We have been together 2 years and her last words to me were how much she loves me and i'm her everything.

If you love her give her the space she needs. But if and when she returns, have a serious talk, set some boundaries, go over some expectations, and decide if you can get past it. Love should not come at the expense of your happiness. If this is the only way she knows how to love possibly she is not the one for you

Give her some space, I know its hard for you right now but when your girlfiend has a chance to clear her mind she will realise what a gem you are. Sometimes we just need space to think.

Someone else? Drugs? Clearly things were not "ok" and you didn't "talk everything out". Dump her. Nobody deserves that kind of disrespect. She does not love you.

I would be a little concerned about her behavior. She might have something big on her mind.
