Ask a man to wash it for you.

You will turn it into a disaster. If you follow the other answers. It will shrink, if it's cotton. The shrinkage is not controllable. If the thread is polyester it won't shrink. All your seams will buckle. If the shirt is poly nothing will happen. I would suggest returning it.

Hi there. Personally I would wash it in hot water then let it cool and put it on and let it air dry otherwise, it may shrink too far. Have a nice day.

Wash it in hot water and dry it on high heat. If that doesn't work, I've HEARD boiling it in a pot of water will help. If its a pre-shrunk shirt, neither will work quite as well.

Warm water and a hot dryer should do it. If the shirt is a dark color, it may fade in the wash, though.
