Why do liberal communists want to make drugs cheaper?

I tell you what, I don't understand these liberals trying to take over America and trying to make medicine cheaper for people to buy. This is not Canada or Europe!

We have a perfect system set up. Lot's of places give health insurance to workers so they can afford the medicine.

The people who can't afford it are whiners that need better jobs.

If you don't like it, then you can get out of America!

You are telling me and everybody else here that you agree with a company being able to make 9000 PERCENT profit?
How about a company putting a lock on further research and development simply because they found a way to do something first? (DNA patenting)?

It wasn't that long ago that credit card companies were shameful to charge 25 percent, and yet now, that is in a normal range.
The higher the price (as seen in the pharmaceutical industry) the less the people who can benefit.
In regards to those without insurance, I hope that you find your job sent overseas so that you can truly appreciate the cost of continuing adequate insurance coverage for you and your family. (a word of note for you and I will use small words: It is Expensive)

I do not believe in government pricing controls as a whole, but there are times when obscene profits should be eliminated and penalized.(oil profits under duh-bew)

Often what is best for the many is best for the few!

In the off chance that you are. I'll start by telling you that you don't own this country. If someone disagrees with you, you have to work it out. I don't have to go anywhere. Neither do you.
The problem with your "get a better job" attitude is that someone has to do the menial jobs. Thus, they frequently can't have insurance, and that means they need cheaper medicine.
You need to be taxed for three reasons. One so that money can be put together from all of America, to benefit all of America. Secondly, because people like you are not willing to pay their fair share. Thirdly, as you pointed out, your too stupid to know how to spend it the right way.

I'll tell you what, you pay a lot for medications and leave the rest of us to save money. I am sure the drug czars will be more than glad to continue to pad their pockets with YOUR money.

When you say spend the money the right way please list how you would spend the money. By the way the Democrats prefer pay as you go while your crowd seems to buy now and pay later. Or let veterans hospitals go to hell in a handbasket due to lack of funds because they are spent on war.

okay so every working stiff- hair stylists, cab drivers, waiters, sales people, janitors/bus boys, nannys, ect- can all quit and get different jobs.
now who will cut people's hair, who will serve food to families at resturants, who will clean up those businesses all of the rich people work at....

we'll just have all of these unfilled jobs because everyone moved on to get 'better' jobs with health care. great country, great economy
