which guitar would YOU rather have?

i'm between these two guitars, and since i dont know much about guitars i'd really appreciated it if you would give me your opinions on which one is better! thanks

I'd go with the Ibanez for a couple of reasons:

1. If you start to play live you will need the versatility of it being an acoustic electric (the Dean is a straight acoustic).

2. I like the maple body to the Ibanez (both have mahogany and rosewood necks) with the pearl inlays. The gecko thing on the Dean looks kind of silly too (unless you work for GEICO) - think resale in case you decide to upgrade later.

The Ibanez will sound and feel better. The Dean will look better but not be so fun to play. I prefer sound over looks. Go with the Ibanez. Plus the Ibanez has a tuner and can be plugged into an amp.

Get an old guitar. The wood sounds a lot better. Of the two, would get the one with the spruce top, the Dean

get the dean.....i know a few people that have them and they are good guitars for the price range....however...if you can come up with a bit more cash go for a martin or a taylor

That's a toughie!

I'm partial to Martins but they're pretty pricey. I'll go with Ibanez to be different - but they're both really good.
