I'm very happy someone asked this question. It has happened several times that there has been a miss-understanding or sometimes I'm sure it hasn't been my fault but I've got my friends to get mad of me. I care about them, I don't want to see them upset and I hate when we have to ignore each other any time we run into each other. I have stepped forward and apologized. Quiet surprisingly they treated me just like there has been a war and they have won it. Victoriously, they looked down at me which I hate it more than any thing. My suggestion, if someone apologized for what he/she has done (and he/she mean it), you should accept the apology. It's a big step and not everyone takes it. After that it is up to you to decide how close you want to keep the relationship.

It depends on what they did. When a boyfriend cheats on me, I Can't forgive them. I have to move on, and stop talking to them all together. But most other things I accept the persons apology and forgive them. Everyone makes mistakes. Life is too short to hold grudges.

No one can force you to be forgiving. However holding on to anger will not help you in anyway. Let go of your anger and be the bigger person. It does not mean that you have to continue to be around that person or be their friend but your anger will not help you.

I get even angrier. just want to slap them then say I am sorry. To talk again to that person depends on the person. if I really care and love them I will forgive easily. If not then later for them till I calm down.

Depends on how serious they are. If they are truly serious, then their apology will be sincere and they will make an effort to not do it again. If they keep on, then they are not serious and I would stay away from them and not give them the opportunity again.

You have to accept fact that the anger is yours and not theirs.

You just have to let that anger go as it is a negetaive emotionand can only harm you.
