well, i can say that much of todays Africa was sectioned off into it's present parts after ww2. and Isreal was also re-established about this same time. war has alot to do with the boundary lines of countries.like Mexico had California until the US - Mex. war. Louisiana and a few other states came from money "The Louisiana Purchase".
