Im an avid camper. I havent been camping in several months and am picking it back up for Spring Break. I am going to Manatee Hammock Park in Titusville, FL along the Indian River in Brevard County, FL. I am having a hard time deciding what to cook and what activities to do. Any advice would be appreciated.

Bring some fishing tackle and a pole so you can catch your own lunch or dinner and don't forget the insect repellent as well as the sun block cream/lotion.

Jerky and trail mix is also good to have especially when out hiking away from camp, may come in handy if you end up lost without a compass, also don't forget to pack away some water pouches for those just in case.

If you are looking at e-z camping instead of roughing it out completely, then bring some hot dogs, steaks, peanut butter and jelly, bread, potatoes, onions, garlic, lettuce, tomatoes, steak sauce, mustard, mayno, relish, oranges, apples, sodas, coffee, chips, etc.

If you got a trailer, roof rack, or a pick up truck bring a small row boat without the motor (row boats are nicer to Manatees and they won't do major damage to these gentle animals) bring some cash or a credit card and rent one instead.

And don't forget a camera, also a journal to write down how your day went, unless you have lap top.

Here's one answer off my own cuff and from left field... buy a harmonica and learn to play it. A "harp" is small enough to easily fit into your pocket and if you bring a radio you can play along with some songs too.
