my internet explorer at times just starts opening more windows and they open faster than i can close them. I also get a error report each time i close Internet explorer, anyone know of what causes this and what to do about it other than to use Mozilla Fire Fox... ???????

Could use the Opera browser instead, if that counts as a solution (well, it's not Firefox, and it's a zillion times better than IE).

use firefox ;)
I always have probs with IE, and with the probs you're describing. And don't ever update to IE7...it's awful!
Unsure what causes it, but Firefox is very stable
