Hey, I downloaded Knight Online recently, and got on it once. But now, everytime I try, it cuts me off. Are there any good free MMORPGs out there that are at least as good at Knight Online?

One thing: there arent a lot of "good" mmorpgs

most free ones are extremely huge timesinks, so if you value your time, you should do some research before picking one to play

Pay to play:
Guild Wars: kinda simple, but one time buy makes up for it
Eve online: space mmorpg, you cant get many mmos better than this
World of Warcraft: very fun and addictive, very big timesink...

Free:
Runescape: play only until you get the hang of the game, then quit, it becomes a huge repetitive grind fest, its more fun to explore and get to know the game
Rappelz:very high rated, highest rated free mmorpg
9Dragons: very very big grindfest, play only for like 2 hours, if at all, just hack and slash, nothing more, good battle system though, but NO CONTENT, just battle

You see, the important thing is not playing huge timesinks, and play only games that you enjoy, and not because you want to play with friends... It becomes work, believe me, i spent like 150 hours of playing runescape just because my friends played it/peer pressure, use your time wisely, once you get into high school, you will have NO time to do ANYTHING, believe me...

I'm not sure how close it is to Knight Online, but
http://www.gaiaonline.com/

This is a fun little multi player community that is already taking off. I just recently joined, and I'm already addicted. The fighting engine is still under construction, but you do get to interact with other people in this online world.

The only cost that is incurred is if you want to buy gift credits or merchandise from the site. So, if you don't want to spend any money, you don't have to.

Just check it out.

This is a GREAT and FREE MMORPG: Silkroad!
Silkroad is like World of Warcraft, and the graphics are amazing. You can have different classes and it's not really repetitive at all! Great replay value too! Download SILKROAD for free! Google it :)
