It is impossible to tell who was the first cricketer on earth as cricket was not invented by any single man, it evolved among a category of englishmen who might have taken inspiration from a native indian country sport called guilli-danda. Thus it cannot be determined who was the first man to hold a bat or who was the first man to have bowled a delivery. Dr. William Gilbert Grace was the first superstar of the game called cricket. He was an amazing all-rounder and was largely responsible for popularising the then relatively new game of cricket in England and its colony Australia. Thus W.G.Grace can be lebelled as the Father of cricket or the grand old man of cricket. Hope this explanation satisfies your query.

Since cricket is a team game, only one man cannot play cricket and as such the question as to who was the first cricketer on earth does not arise.

I think since cricket is a team game, it is hard to say who is the first criketer on the earth. But I guess this website sure helps you to find more about cricket. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_cricket#First_definite_reference
