Yes because, sadly, people make work their priority and put their relationships aside. They may have spouses and kids but everyone else takes a back seat. If they wanted friends, they could adjust their time to fit them in, but they choose not to.

It's just life, bro. People change when they grow older and sometimes grow apart. Let me share a quick story with you. I had a best friend for about 6 years and we both had a lot in common. However, he started getting influenced by a different "clique" and we both never really stayed the same. Years pass and I find out he's been getting his life together but I have no reason to care about that. I have my own life and problems to deal with and he's the last person I could care less about. Sad, but that's my deal. It's just time that makes friends either stick together or grow apart.

yes as you get older it is hard to keep friends. Me and my best friend are so different in the way we do things. But we still talk and hang out at least once a year. As for friends, i have my spouse. He is all i really need. I also have co workers that we don't go out with but talk to when i need to.

It seems that the people who are your true friends are those you made when you're young. As you get older people move away, there are people who are your friends only for a season, there are those who have an agenda and those who say their your friends until you turn your back. I am 34 and I can say that I have only 1 person I can call a friend and I've known her for yearssssss.

Yeah, you lose your old friends because everyone changes... then you find it hard to join into already established friend networks and circles. After high school me and all of my friends went separate ways.. I made a few friends in college, but they all graduated and got married, started families. Now I'm 26 and pretty much don't have any friends. I don't expect that'll change.

That's why family's gotta be number 1.

it is harder as you get older...when children get in fights, they usually just forget about it right after it happens, too.
