When you see people going places, there are nearly always people travelling in the opposite direction. Isn't this an obvious indication that they found this place unsatisfying and are going to find a better place?

It depends: some people are exploring somewhere they've never been/haven't really explored, while others may be *moving* elsewhere. Plus, there are many people with different interests (at different times in their lives, even). I was drawn towards larger cities a few years ago, but am burnt out... want a smaller city near a lot of nature... Sometimes, people just want a change of pace, even they're not really moving somewhere "better."

Perhaps,to some people, however I have discovered extremely interesting and satisfying "places" all over the United States {some in my "own backyard"] in the United States! Also I have found many interesting places "in other countries" however my travel experience "out of the United States" is extremely limited!!

There are always places further than where you are going, so how can you be sure that these people coming or going have or had the same destination as you might think. I suppose it is possible that all the satisfying places that a person could think of going to are just purely out of their reach.

No, when you go on vacation you have to come back no matter how much you liked the place. Also, maybe the people coming from the place you're going to live there and want to go somewhere else, just like you.
