My husband and I are trying to have a baby, we have been trying for about 7 months now and no luck so far. We are both healthy individuals. I am charting my basal body temperatures, using ovulation predictor kits, and monitoring my cervical position and cervical mucus. We are having sex every other day just about and we keep thinking we are timing things right but so far no luck. I'm not sure what we are doing wrong or why we haven't gotten lucky yet. Please don't tell me we are trying too hard or thinking about it too much because we aren't we are taking things day by day and having sex because we love each other and we are letting possibly having a baby be something very special. I just want to hear some success stories from other couples that have been in my shoes, and maybe hear what you did that helped you get pregnant. Thanks so much

It took us 19 months to conceive baby #3, my husband and I are both in our early 30's and used ovulation tests, and even used fertility drugs for 2 months with no success. We had tests done to make sure there were no cysts or anything like that, all of the "equipment" was fine for both of us.

We even bought Pre-Seed and used it for 6 months with no luck. After some research, we found out that Olive Oil is close to the pH of sperm, and a woman's orgasm can help the sperm move through the cervix better. Using OPK we realized that I ovulate late, so I'd say get some OPKs from www.early-pregnancy-tests.com and read their tips (such as don't use first urine of the morning), they have great prices and I got pregnant using the tests from them.

We always had sex every other day around the time I ovulated, but in January decided maybe we should try EVERY day, we used OPKs each afternoon and Olive Oil for lube and he made sure I had an orgasm, too. We are now 8.5 weeks pregnant with baby #3!

Good luck, and best wishes for a happy and healthy pregnancy!!

First, you might think about having a semen analysis done on your husband. It's a quick test your gynecologist can order for him, and if there is a problem, you can start working on it right away. It's unusual, but in rare circumstances some men do have issues with sperm quality and quantity. Then, try using "preseed", www. preseed.com. Not only is this a lubricant, but it optimizes the conditions inside the vagina to the right ph for the sperm. Finally, have sex every day, even 2x a day if you can, and NOT every other day. Men make sperm continuously, he won't run out! Your egg is only good for up to 12 hours, so you could be missing your chance by waiting too long. Also, time your orgasm for after your husband ejaculates, not before, and then put a few pillows under your hips to elevate them for about 30 minutes to help the sperm get to the fallopian tubes. Good luck!

You might find the following statistics comforting or just very informative:

· Just 25% of couples actively trying to conceive become pregnant the first cycle.

· 60% become pregnant in the first six months of trying to conceive.

· 75% of couples become pregnant within nine months.

· 90% of couples experience pregnancy within 18 months.

While pregnancy is something that you’d probably like to happen sooner rather than later, when you look at these statistics you should feel some comfort. 90% of couples actively trying to get pregnant will experience that joy within the next year and a half. That sounds like a long time, but a planned pregnancy is something worth waiting for, whether it’s one month or eighteen.

If you are using OPK's and BBT and tracking CM then you are well on your way. I know how frustrating it can be. Have you tried Pre~seed yet. It is getting rave reviews and tons of people are getting pregnant with it. It is a lubrication that it good for the sperm. It won't trap or kill them and it help them swim and keeps them alive longer. Just a suggestion. You can but it on www.pre~seed.com Good Luck!!

Tight shorts can interfere with men's ability to impregnate. I forget why. In our family, we have the opposite problem. If a man
puts his shoes under our bed, whammo! another baby.
Have you seen a doctor for a sperm count or to see if you have a reason (endometriosis) for not conceiving?
Children are a gift from God, Have you prayed about this?

It takes some couples over a year to conceive. Just keep doing what you are doing; it will happen!
